Anime tracks on a walking tape? Who knew?
Ignore the subject. Long story.
I've been staring at all the update work I've been slogging away at website-wise - it's kind of hard given that I've had to put what I've done at work on disk. I've got several additions to the Fanfic Recs section, but since it'll be forever til that goes up, I'm going to plug a few fics here that really deserve it.
First and foremost: "Home for the Holocaust" by Chris Funaro. It's a PRLG fic, centered around Mike and Karone. It's a really GOOD, character-driven PRLG fic revolving around my two favorite characters from that series, and you really don't see a lot of good Lost Galaxy fics lately. With that in mind, and seeing as how Chris hasn't gotten a lot of feedback from stuff he's written, GO READ IT! It's archived at Athers' PR Fanfic Library, one of the best new PR fanfic sites I've seen in a long time.
Second because it's received more attention: "Regression" by Gyrus and HonorH. It's an AtS/BtVS crossover, set in early S3/S6 before those seasons started sucking. Dawn gets kidnapped by some actually interesting villains, the story is fast and largely ship-free, and the villains enlist everybody's favorite Chaos mage to provide a diversion by seriously messing with Angel and Spike's personalities. It's a long read, so you'll have to sit down and clear off some free time, but it's SO worth it. Go read this one. You'll be glad you did. (And if this story is archived somewhere other than ff.net, please let me know.)
