Does the name
Dr. Nera Vivaldi
sound familiar to anyone else? Why?
First person to guess right gets the ability to gloat madly about it. :)

Isn't that a character from one of those Choose Your Own Adventure books?
For some reason, I want to say it's the one where you're trying to track down this alien signal or something.
... am I totally off?
Start gloating.

I was digging through my old Choose Your Own Adventure books at my mother's a few weeks ago (the one thing we never throw away is books).
It's not just one. Dr. Nera Vivaldi pops up in at least half a dozen of the ones I saved. And I had a LOT of those books.
I wondered if I was the only one who remembered that... :)
