If anyone's wondering why I'm MIA all evening...
Mild but pernicious headache has set in. I'm leaving work in 18 minutes, and when I get home the computer is staying off all night.
I'm not dead, just not in any condition to bounce around on IM or message boards.
For those who are not on my friends list: I'm currently experimenting with constructive criticism to see if some authors tend to read malice in reviews that aren't glowing but are not necessarily snarky. So far, I'm not doing too badly. Still waiting on some responses.
Ooh, now it's 14 minutes. Counting down...
