Beta Appreciation Day...
So I'm giving out weird and random thanks here. The list may not seem long, but I've had several more betas over the years, whose e-mail addresses and names are lost to memory.

...to Tall Tales, wherever you are, for helping me out with "Sharp Edges" and police procedure so I could allow Kenneth Irons to move things along plausibly and realize that as much as she's annoying me, Rhiannon was a necessary character. (And indirectly reminding me why killing off a character would be bad.)

bktheirregular for being patient enough to look at another part of that same story and not yell at me when the demons hit a brick wall on the fight scene, as well as validating the creativity demon insisting we had to use a certain character again. And for not yelling at me when said story is still on hiatus.
...to roguegal for trying to help me out on that part even though it'd been forever since I posted anything.
...to pidgerii, who, while not technically a beta, sent me feedback that confirmed my suspicions about just what was annoying me about "The Key and the Sword."
...totptigger and estirose for helping me quash a ridiculous and Sue-ish fanfic idea with simple logic, and for helping me realize that sometimes, it's good to be able to just toss something I'm writing out. :)
...to Death, Plague and War (jennies in LJ land) for letting me bounce ideas off of them even in the wee hours of the evening when I couldn't stand staring at a paper any longer and had to discuss fanfic with SOMEONE in Real Life, for getting me through the elaborate setups of "Murphy's Law" over Spring Break, for confirming several jokes in "New Blood," for pointing out that certain lines should not come from the mouths of certain characters in "The Key and the Sword" and for showing me how knotty that fic was getting (even if you did scare my demons for a while there, Death), for smacking sense into me when I considered giving fanfic up, and just for being there for me.
And to everyone else not mentioned who helped me out in the quest to make stories not suck, thank you again. :)
