Fic gender and lack of iconage
Okay, after
tptigger let me know about this, I ran some of my fics through The Gender Genie to see what came up.
Well, I tried, that is: Murphy's Law and Special Case locked up IE when I tried it first. So sadly, I must limit this to the short stuff.
In the Waiting - male
Kind of Busy Now - male
Options - male
Mind Games - male **
Identity - female **
Slow Night - male
Sleep to Dream Her - female **
Traffic - male
Not Again - male
Wherever You Are - male
**These may seem really off because they came out as the opposite genders of the characters whose minds they delved into, but I was actually expecting those results. "Mind Games," while it was from Teela's POV, wasn't completely introspective and was fairly... I guess definite is the best word I can come up with. "Identity" and "Sleep to Dream Her" were both from the POV of male characters, but both fics were extremely introspective and dealt with a great deal of uncertainties.
Other stuff: No time to muck with icons, and
altrn8realities is putting me to shame. Nyah. Play stuff (see
mandichaos) and a muscle flare-up haven't given me as much opportunity to mess with icons as I'd like. Not to mention I can't THINK of an icon idea, which is why I put out an offer to take requests. Anyone?
