Okay, I was watching TV the other night and came to a conclusion.

Old Navy is TRYING to frighten people with their ads.

I guess they're banking on the same mentality that gets people to stare at a train wreck.

(Also, opinions on the new layout? Yes? No? Since this isn't going to be my web site update LJ anymore, I decided to dispense with the purple.)

As for ON, I think the same thing applies to MOST advertisers as far as I can see. There are some fairly disturbing ones over here, too. (Missed the ON ad last week, though - or perhaps I didn't!)

I hate the Old Navy commercials too. I have yet to see one that doesn't annoy me. I haven't set foot in the store either. Coincidence? I think not.

And I like the purty blue layout. :)
