Podcasts, anyone?

So podcasts have been available through iTunes for quite some time now, but I've never really downloaded any.

Why? Well, for starters, there are TOO MANY out there to choose from.

Can anyone suggest a podcast? What are you listening to now, and why?

My favorite is Cinecast. I also recommend anything put out by KCRW, the public radio station in Santa Monica.

Just one? Can I suggest two? I listen to tons, mainly because music gets very backgroundy when you're doing tons of fly work at once.

1) The Signal
A guerella marketing campaign for a trilogy of Firefly films. (But right now they'll settle for Serenity II.) Firefly analysis, news, and fan marketing strategies. Biweekly.

2) Firefly Talk (noticing a theme?)
A weekly podcast produced by some people on the Signal crew and some people who are not. This is more of a fan resource--there's discussion of Firefly, the fans' reaction to it, and various analytical articles about the 'verse. This is more interactive.

Let me know if you want points at other fandom podcasts. :)

I listen to Alph Rant.

It's a commentary and just random thoughts of the creators of the web comic Alpha Shade

I've downloaded and subscribed to Masters Cast - The He-Man and She-Ra podcasts. They're all right.
