Free time? What's that?

So I've known for a while I was hitting the road for the 2007 Gathering of the Gargoyles on June 21st.

It didn't occur to me that the 21st was coming up so quickly until the middle of last week. :)

I guess I'll see people there tomorrow. Driving out there with [livejournal.com profile] brooklynx who's flying in tonight.

(Also, LJ, would you STOP resetting my Viewing Options to Horizon with its annoying dropdown menus? I'm tired of having to reset it to Dystopia. Phbbt.)

Yes, though I would've paid to see it. That one has "Epic Brawl" written all over it. (They could even have a sidekick match while the two of them took a timeout to heal/reload utility belts...)

Enjoy the trip! Hope you have a great time at the Gathering; do let us know the status of GS2V2, it's been on my brother's wishlist for two years now! ^_^;


P.S. - Am working on your baubles (in my head; not IRL yet but I'm getting there). Knowing me and miniatry, I oughtta be able to squeeze a scale onto the brooch, esp. considering it's all the same color. Just need to know: Is the coloring right on the sample image you gave me, or should the pin be goldtone and the pendant be a sort of faded-purple/slate?

I think the coloring you guessed at is right, which means Photoshop must have screwed with the colors. You can find the original images at http://www.court-records.net/art.htm (full shot of Mia and the headshot in the pic) and http://www.court-records.net/Evidence.htm (first piece of evidence, the badge in close-up). Honestly, it's up to your discretion, I think the pin is goldtone but the magatama necklace looks different in each pic.

I'd vote for the blue-purple color over the slate color, as that color appears more often in pics of her. In fact, every bit of official art I've seen except the headshot has the pendant as blue-purple, so I'd go for that. The headshot just gives you a better idea of the size of it.
