An open letter to my brain
To my brain:
STOP messing with the idea of a Charmed/Labyrinth crossover. It's not the crossover that's the problem, but you keep toying with premises that I wouldn't have written when I was 12. Gah, the pain!

I have to agree
1) Don't pair up Jareth with one of the sisters.
2) Don't make Chris wish Wyatt away and then rerun the whole movie. (Use Chris. Don't abuse Chris. :)
3) Don't make Jareth friends with Cole (do not ask me where that came from)
and 4) Don't make the movie exist in the Charmed world.
But I like the idea. Maybe Paige is reading to Wyatt in that book Sarah had and...
OK shutting up now. :)

Re: I have to agree
#2 came up for about a second (although with someone else wishing Wyatt away for some reason and Chris going after them simply because Chris wouldn't do something that stupid - don't ask, I didn't pry for details) and the creativity demon that suggested it got flattened by the rest before it could try to explain itself.
#3 never crossed my mind.
I don't see how the crossover would work if #4 were true. (Yeah, they've pulled characters out of movies before, but we've been there, done that.)
Thing is, my copy of Labyrinth hasn't been replaced yet and I'd need to re-watch it anyway since I can't write Jareth. (Labyrinth fanfic in general frightens me, and there's only been a few stories that seem to write it well. After reading "A Forfeit of Dreams" I've been reminded how hard it is to write him properly.)
*sigh* The only creativity demons making any sort of sense are the ones who think that maybe something's after Sarah in order to get to Jareth and the Charmed Ones get wind of an innocent in trouble... but they're not giving me much in the way of details.
This is not encouraging given that I want to avoid long drawn-out eternally hanging WIPs. :)
Re: I have to agree
Sometimes the vague plot bunnies make the best stories. :)
