Okay. . .why? That's terrible! Honestly, I've never understood the whole "hate the Jews" thing. I mean, they're white people so there's not a lot of huge easily apparent differences. I just don't understand it. ????? I guess I should consider myself lucky that I don't.
As supportive as I am of the whole 'ignorance is bliss' thing, I can't help but point out that modern Judaism is a religion, so a person from any nation or race could be a Jew, ergo, not all white people.
Thanx! I tend to forget that there are non-white Jews too. But still - I just don't get the hatred towards Jews. Doesn't make sense to me. It's a religion, so live with it people, you know?
Thanks for sharing the link. I especially enjoyed reading the part about conversion. It reaffirmed some of the things I have occasionally heard my mum's jewish friend explain about the difference between jews and gentiles.
