Survived Department Picnic, Take Two, today. Remarkably, the weather cooperated, and we still got away with using a kiddie pool in the middle of the tug-of-war.
Not surprisingly, the Architecture division won the division competition. That wasn't that much of a shock since they're the most insanely competitive people in the whole department. (I'm still amused that they wheeled in a cart full of cans to win the "canned food drive" contest but lost to the front office because they averaged cans per person, and there are only 7 people in the front office.)
Surprisingly, our division won the tug-of-war even with moi on the team. (Hey, another application of tai chi came into play here.) And watching certain people try to stomach Jello shooters was amusing.
More importantly, and I didn't realize this til now, but happy birthday, Erika! :)
