Actually, I was the smartass with the cleric comment. I think Deb was the "both of me" commentator.
It certainly was a fun game, though perhaps not fair to you since it'd been so long since we'd had enough people there to make with the witty smartass banter. ^_^ This group certainly gets along better than the other one, though. And the fact that we have two people playing two characters apiece certainly makes things interesting.
And I'm probably remembering it wrong, but I think around the quadruple Basilisk attack the following exchange occurred:
B: "Well, why don't you take some oil flasks up and throw them?" J: "Because I don't like fire. Fire burns feathers." Mage: "Yeah, a shift in the wind, and-" J: "And I fall like a stone." T: (shrugs) 'Hey, at least we'd have bird for dinner." J: "You know, I *could* just fly off and leave you guys to fight these things off on your own..."
