*brain turns back on*
Jan. 10th, 2006 03:28 pmNot dead. But for the purposes of playing catch-up, I am briefly violating my policy of keeping all Real-Life-related posts friends-locked. So here comes the slew of randomness...

First off, I said this to you five or six times during the wedding reception and you heard it another fifty, but congratulations
blue_soulfire! I actually got some good pictures from the chapel and reception if you want yet more to sift through - okay, mostly the ones with Jim and Brian and company dancing to YMCA with props. And some pictures of you looking beautiful. *hugs*

If anyone's wondered why I haven't replied to e-mails this weekend... for the brief time that I had the chance to sit down and check my mail, Yahoo! Mail decided it hated being opened by any browser on a Mac. The problem's been remedied, but excuse my delayed reaction time.

I now have a garbage disposal. And a new trap in the first-floor bathroom sink. Whee! Thanks, Mike!

I saw the latest news on silly Internet related laws and had to laugh. If this law is intended that way, there's no way they're going to be able to enforce it.

Does anyone know of a good way to reliably clean soot off of a concrete floor? While Quality Climate Control was very professional when it came to installing the new heater, their clean-up skills left a LOT to be desired. I've got plastic bags covering the laundry room floor now so I don't track soot back into the tiled part of the basement whenever I go in there. The main passageway has drains, if that helps. I can't just keep trash bags on the floor there permanently, and I can't keep tracking soot out of there if I ever want to get the tile floor clean. Ugh.

Reason #567 the website hasn't been updated: I am currently driving my home computer crazy making slideshow vids for friends and putting them on iDVD. It works, and I have a system, but it pretty much eats up a huge chunk of memory. And I'm using the free time while it sits there and renders and/or burns to clean and pick up. The office will look like a part of a human habitation again!
