But now as for these Contrary characters and why they work for you, I can relate in the sense that I too love to write, though for me it is poetry.
In the content of what I write, the main character, who is often me, is controversial, contrary, colorful and deals with things in a very romantic way.
You are right and I quite concur that variety is the spice of life. Anyhow, it really does work for you; that last piece from yesterday was REALLY nice.
