Well, tomorrow I'll be 25.

Going out to lunch with co-workers to get pizza, just so I can do something this year. No earth-shattering plans, really - but it's an improvement from last year, when I practically forgot about my birthday until the day before.

Still, I tend to forget it's coming until the last minute. I think the last time I did something big for my birthday was when I turned 21 and we spent the weekend in Ocean City. I was kind of surprised when I was on the phone with Pestilence and she told me to come out to Fredneck on Friday so she and Death could take me out to dinner... mainly because it hadn't fully dawned on me that my birthday was this week. Oops.

And yeah, I'm 25. A lot of people have been teasing me that I "won't be in my early twenties" any more and that I'll be "going on 30." Bah. I'll be in my early twenties for as long as I can get away with it.

Hm. To be honest, I haven't really even thought about approaching 30 yet. Part of me is still getting used to not being a teenager anymore. Which is probably why it bothers me so much when people twice my age hit on me. On second thought, I think it has to do with the fact that these are usually creepy guys with ex-wives who threaten to commit them and have two kids already.

In other news, finished cleaning up red-eye and just burned the first CD of wedding photos for family. 293 photos in all, between me and Chris. Oy.

...ooh, flickering lightbulb. Must post this and turn iMac off NOW.

Well happy birthday. I remember being 25 pretty well, although I guess it was 11 years ago.

Happy Birthday! Yes, I still can't believe that in a year, I'll be 30. I still think of myself as forever 21. :)

Happy Birthday :)

And I know what you mean; I still think I'm only about fifteen or sixteen half the time (and I was twenty-five last b'day)

*hugs*

Welcome to the world of 25 where the most common expression you'll hear from now until you find a partner is, "You're not married yet? Ooo. You'd be perfect for my..."

Got two of those last night. Sigh.

Huge hugs and happy b-day wishes to you.

I tell you a veritable truth here: You really are as young as you feel. When you're ill its worse and when you're in good general health it's best.

Here's to health and happiness!!!!

Have a great day Mandi.

Happy birthday!

Yeah, the mid-twenties feel weird. But I've been told no one feels like an adult until at least thirty, so you've got some time yet. ^_^
