*pops up from the snow*

First off, happy birthday,
marielogan! *hugs*
So, despite the 6 or 7 inches of snow out there, I did manage power walking of a sort. How, you ask?
Well, first I bundled up to go sweep my car off and assess the snow sticking to the roads. Then I realized I didn't feel like watching anything in my library. So I decided to go to the video store, but the roads looked like crap.
My solution? I walked to Blockbuster and back.
It wasn't that bad - it only took me 15 minutes to get there on foot, and I was very careful. It was also fun to see the looks on people's faces when I stepped in with all the snow sticking to my coat. "I walked," I explained to the girl who stopped restocking DVDs to stare at me.
She laughed. "I figured as much."
But it was a good hike to and back, and after watching one movie, I noticed the snow had stopped, so I went out and swept off the last of the snow, dug out my car and swept off the front walk of our building for good measure.
Yeah, I got some exercise today. I will miss having a grocery store right across the street and having so many options in walking distance when I move out.
Cable's been a bit spotty today, but Net access appears to be steady again. *sigh* And I need to give
covielle an idea of what to freaking draw, but now I'm blanking and I know I had something in mind when I bid on it. Sometimes I hate my brain. All this free time and no creativity. Gah.
So I guess I should do something productive so the demons will start throwing out ideas at an inappropriate time. The dishes, maybe. :)
