Post-Easter ramblings...
Apr. 21st, 2003 09:57 am1) First and foremost: My Dad is a very lucky guy. :)
2) Discovered an oddity today while sharing the huge 40 flavor Jelly Belly box I was given for Easter. While I need to update the Jelly Belly Menu on my site now, due to the new flavors, I came across a new flavor that baffled me. In addition to Green Apple, there is now Red Apple.
...Why? They both taste like apple. What gives? I expect more creativity from the people who have managed to make convincing Jalapeno-flavored jelly beans.
3) I would like to make an announcement for the people driving on the Baltimore Beltway last night, since a lot of them seem to have forgotten this.
Turn signals are NOT optional.
Hey, I kind of like to know when the minivan with a bunch of kids and their father who should know better is going to cross three lanes of traffic and nearly bash into the driver's side door of my car. Is that too much to ask?
4) Now that the long-running "Now and Again" mailing lists have vanished from existence, I must ask: am I the only one who remembers the show? Bah. At least Eric Close and Dennis Haysbert are working.
5) Oh, and thanks to
neonhummingbird for the pretty Gina Torres icon. (Look! I can use LJ-specific tags now! It took me, what, over a year to find that in the FAQ? Yeesh. ;) )
6) Nothing to See Here will actually be updated this week. I kid you not.
Yep. That's it. :)
