It's Friday! Yaaay!
Feb. 15th, 2002 11:05 amWell, I went and assumed that no one reads my webjournal... turns out I was wrong. (Hi, Dad!) Hmm, I'd better be careful what I write here. :)
Anyway, update for the folks who came here for webpage status: new parts of my fanfic will be coming. Really. I'm just stuck at a scene - it's a matter of determining when things will fall into place.
Yeah, yeah, yesterday was Valentine's Day. Oh, the abundance of Pepto-Bismol pink... ugh. I don't necessarily have a problem with V-Day; what really drives me nuts is Valentine's Day marketing. All the pink, the cherubs in diapers, et cetera. I was looking over my roommate's trade paperbacks of "The Books of Magic" and came across a story with Cupid getting fed up and trying to change his image. Can't really blame him.
Anyway, I'm celebrating this evening... by going to an anti-Valentine's Day party. One of our games involves candy hearts and a hammer, and our hostess is showing "Valentine". I've never seen it, but I have been assured that it must have some redeeming qualities.
Gah, I've got the sinus headache that won't go away; consequently, I'm sitting at my computer wearing shades. (Been getting some weird looks, but all my work has to be done at a computer today, so what can you do?)
Anyway, it's lunchtime, so I'm off to Subway.
