Survived the exam. It went all right, I suppose. I hope she gives points for creativity.

Well, the guys at O'Donnell could not duplicate the error with my car, and they checked EVERYTHING they could think of. They didn't charge me for the time, though, and Jeff told me to bring it in again if the car continued this hiccup. Jewel gave me no problems on the ride home, though. I think this is my fault for naming my car, it's developing a cranky personality.

No news on house. My contract was the first one in, but I fully expect to get outbid. *shrug* Hey, if other people want a place so badly they're willing to go house poor, more power to them. I sort of like having money left over for food and medicine and clothes. :)

Oh, and I'm making my way through the Lone Gunmen DVD. I was never a big X-Files fan, but I really, really liked The Lone Gunmen when it came out. If they'd only given it more time on the air... but then, this is Fox. What haven't they cancelled?

It's a good box set - they even had the foresight to put the XF "Jump the Shark" episode for those of us who missed how they wrapped up the series a year later. My only complaint: no outtakes. From the commentaries, they obviously had a TON of outtakes and bloopers - so where are they? I'd have taken a gag reel over the TV spots that they obviously dubbed over, thank you very much. The retrospective "making-of" video was kind of interesting - Dean Haglund with short hair made me blink several times, and someone needs to make Stephen Snedden shave - but there was more they could have done.

Although they did do cast commentary on "Tango de los Pistoleros," one of my favorite episodes, so hey.
