Well, I'm glad I noticed this NOW...
May. 5th, 2005 04:54 pmSo I'm going over the SQL scripting for the last deliverable of the database project with one of my group members and working out how to implement our constraints with SQL when I suddenly realized we had a big honking design flaw in our database design.
And how many steps have we been through of this process before this came up?
Dr. Z is letting us just incorporate the change into our deliverable for Monday and have us add the revisions to our final report due the 20th instead of demanding them now, but... geez, I have just finished fixing the table creation scripts. There's still triggers, queries, views and all the test data that needs to be entered. And we need to put together a PowerPoint presentation on it. By Monday. Gah.
I am so glad I'm only taking one course this semester.
I will be going nuts in the fall when I take two courses. (Have to, that's the best time to get the budget to cover a class.)
Going home and taking a nap now. :)
