TGIF!

Okay, need to leave in a bit, so a quick rundown of things:

Happy birthday, crzydemona! *hugs*

Electrician from Dynamo Electric showed up last night to do the estimate. We went all over the house and he went over different options for handling some of the rewiring, pointed out what he could do about the AC units, hair dryer, the phone jack, and handling the upstairs without punching holes in my walls - and there IS an access panel in the bathroom wall, behind the upper right corner of the mirror, so the wall won't have to be torn down and I won't have to find and kill any contractors. He'll send me an estimate by Monday, and was confident enough to say the job would take maybe two days - which is the most specific time estimate I've gotten from anyone so far. He answered all my questions, went over everything, threw out different options for dealing with specific issues, and was pretty thorough. Seems like a decent guy, although I will be running his estimate by some people who know the costs of these things when I get it on Monday.

One thing you really don't want to overhear while walking down the hall at work: "Oh, they set the other building on fire again." (I don't want to know.)
