PSA - hate Snap.com popups?
Oct. 29th, 2007 01:11 pmFor those of you who hate those Snap.com popups with a FIERY BURNING PASSION: there are a couple of ways to get rid of it.
1) Go into one of the popups, mouse over the gear symbol, hit "disable," and clicky the box. That should kill it.
2) If you have NoScript for Firefox, block scripts from snap.com.
3) If you use AdBlock, there are detailed instructions for using that to pwn the popups here.
4) To kill it even deader in general, check out this thread for tips.
What on earth made Six Apart think users were going to LIKE this crap?
