So, I picked up Spider-Girl #100 on my lunch break...

...and yes, I am that much of a dork, thankyouverymuch. But as this was purported to be the last issue of Spider-Girl, and since #99 was left on one of those cliffhangers, and since I had an appointment right after work and would not be able to get to the comic book shop before closing if I waited til the end of the day, I couldn't resist.

I'm not going to talk about the actual issue right now, because I flipped through it in the car, got to the mail section, turned the page and saw the following ad:

"The Amazing Spider-Girl #1. Coming in October."

RELAUNCH! YES! YES! YES! YES!

I don't know what's up with the title either, but hey. I thought the TPBs were doing too well for them to kill the book.


So, I guess the guys at Cosmic Comix will NOT be rid of me quite yet. :)

I'm always glad when a comic featuring a female lead gets another chance(see Manhunter). SPider-Girl has had more lives than a cat(tile life-wise)! Hooray!
