Okay, so I just got through my first class of the semester. The class is "Online Communities." One of the final project options is to conduct a social study of an existing online community.

I immediately thought of campfuckudie.

And then took a second to really consider what a social study of CFUD would reveal.

I'm not gonna do it, but can you all understand why I started cracking the hell up in the middle of class?

I don't think my prof is ready for that.

...also I think there's got to be some distance involved and that would at least mean I'd have to hiatus from playing while I was doing the study.

See, this is why I decided not to post to CFO; I'd either terrify too many people-- or, more likely, people would try to enable me into doing it and I don't wanna give up playing for the semester.
