Honestly, if I pick that up, I'm going to have to rewrite the whole series from the ground up. And continue to ignore everything Stargate past season three.
I'm not committing to anything either way, but... we'll see how it goes. (I just realized that series is like 10 years old, too. I can't believe that.)
