mandolinI am this close to finishing a short fic - well, the next-to-final draft, anyway, since I'm going to send it off to my betas one last time.
The most recent draft? On a disk. At work. With one damn dinner scene that's driving me nuts because I need dialogue between characters who are only incidental to the plot (but narrating what happened rather than showing the dinner doesn't work either).
Normally, I'd wait til Monday, but it's 11 pm, I have nowhere to be and I'm on a roll. I'm going to try to reconstruct this.
