I am not dead, I'm on a dialup!

Well, as you can probably tell, I did not have time Monday morning to put up the promised walkthroughs on the Snooz site. I had two hours to dress, pack my things and cram everything in the car - as a result, the site went untouched.

I'll be out of town til maybe Saturday - at my parents' house, with naught but a dialup connection. Any e-mails between now and then to the tune of "Why haven't you updated (insert fic or page here)?" will be summarily deleted. No FTP access, sorry.

Michele, feel free to send me parts of that fic for beta. *points at e-mail addy attached to this account* I can access e-mail, at least. Responses may be slow, mainly because of dialup, family time, and the fact that this keyboard requires you to POUND the keys to get anything to type.

So until I get back to the cable modem, all... have a happy holiday. Whichever one you celebrate. :)

P.S. violetbloom rocks - she sat through RotK a third time so I could finally see it last night! Yay! (Well, that wasn't an ordeal, but I'm still happy she went with me.)

Such the sacrifice

It was so hard to sit through three hours of the beautiful Faramir yet again, but that is what friends are for. I was willing to make the sacrifice just for your benefit. It's not like I'm obsessed with the movie or anything.
