I know I promised tptigger some PRDT rambling, but I have NO ENERGY. Got in late, got home late after a post office stop, realized I was wasting too much of my evening scrabbling after eBay stuff, and my brain has just... crashed.

I want to go on IM, chat, write, fix a walkthrough I promised someone... but I just cannot do it. Ugh. New VCR is annoying me mainly because BJ's did not have the Sony model I bought from them 6 months ago and the Panasonic isn't quite the same.

Oh, and the notices the rental office put up in buildings don't even mention that there was an incident (TWO incidents, I'm not the first), they just tell people to not let strangers in, don't buzz in people you don't know... but not why they're putting these notices up.

I know they don't want to scare people.

But people are LAZY. And unless you tell them that something HAS happened, they will go on thinking that nothing ever WILL happen. And these bastards will score a third time. Maybe a fourth if people continue to be clueless.

I will be spending a little time this week spreading the word myself. Shouldn't take too long to print out some addendums to those notices and post them.

My upstairs neighbor's mad and threatening to call the DA because he was told he couldn't get a chain or another type of lock; we have metal doors, so it won't work. He asked me "Will they let you install an alarm inside?" (Let me? Since when was I going to ask permission??)

Gah, I need sleep. Sorry, all.
