PRDT rambling...

mandolinJust some rambling and giggling over this week's PRDT.

Well, this shoots my crossover snippet to hell, really, but PR actually managed to surprise me. Wow. And I suppose with Tommy back in action, they're going to need someone manning the computers...
(The first fifteen seconds of Act 2 got cut off for me - did she ever explain how she knew aside from meeting Tommy in college?)
Is anyone ELSE a little annoyed that they left out Mike and Merrick in the pantheon of sixth rangers? I mean, come ON! You want to cover all the seasons, at least mention all the rangers, even offhand. (EDIT: Okay, Merrick got covered, my fault for rushing through a post before leaving. I meant that Phantom and Mike got shafted. I understand why they were easy to cut out, but that just annoyed me.)
So Mesogog wants to revert the earth to its prehistoric state. I guess taking over the world got old, but his methods so far don't seem to have much to do with that ultimate goal. Guess that's what you get when you have to chuck the original Sentai storyline entirely and chop up footage.
(Although that might work somewhat better considering what I've read about the Evorian in the original Abaranger plotline. We'll see.)
So they DID decide to put all the series in one universe. I note there was no mention of Forever Red.
*snicker* Connor's twin brother flunked out of ninja school? And is an even bigger airhead than Connor? Is that possible?
Just when I thought Connor couldn't get any dumber, he manages to surprise me. Oy.
Yeah, it's probably a good thing Tommy's going to be an active Ranger again. :)
Like I said - it's WAY too easy to mock Connor.

And the only thing more annoying than a clip show is a clip show with an important arc "B" story. *sighs*

Date: 2004-02-29 02:59 pm (UTC)Mike is skippable inasmuch as he's not a Ranger. It's not like Ann has probably SEEN Lost Galaxy. She was told there were five Rangers, so we saw five Rangers. Hell, we didn't even see Trey, and she was around for his tenure.
