Not dead. Had an "away from computer" weekend. Saturday was spent helping a friend move into a new place, and Sunday... well, it was the most beautiful day weather-wise we've had in months. So I spent all afternoon at Centennial Park, walking around the lake and just sitting out there watching the canoes and ducks and kids rolling down hills for the heck of it.

Also, trying to write the report's a pain considering there are huge gaps of time where I'm not sure what the heck happened. Looking at other con journals isn't helping since the order of events in some reports seem to be flipped around. (I know we ate lunch before the Voice Acting panel because I took the very first photo of certain motorcycles on the way to the diner...)

Next year, I have one resolution: be coherent. That's all. If I make it next year.

Darn it, when are they going to post the dates for Otakon 2005 so I know if I can go to G2005 or not??

It's a fairly large anime convention in Baltimore. Since I live 20 minutes away from the Baltimore Convention Center, I end up being the hotel for my friends every year. Not that I mind - it's generally a lot of fun, and if G2005 and Otakon 2005 occur on the same weekend, I'm not going to want to leave my friends in the lurch.

I don't want to have to choose between them, you know? :)

Lemme see...I had to research this a while back, for the original (lost) dates Chris got for Vegas. (That date didn't conflict with *anything*) Otakon is...typically the last week of July or the first of August.
...which is totally unhelpful in this case, isn't it? : P

I'm about 40 minutes outside Baltimore myself. Of course, I'm moving in less then a month to Texas. Ye got any interest in hitting the east-coast chibi-Gather? Probably late December, probably Philly, probably about 15 garg fans. Sorta a "dead-dog" style "party" without an actual con before hand.

If it's not TOO late in December, sure. I may be flying out to SC to visit relatives on the 19th. (If it's post-Christmas, then that's more likely too. :) )

*nods* the dates won't be wrangled down for a while; we actually are aiming for the weekend before Christmas, but we've got multiple schedules we have to try and work around, so nothing is set.
