Victory! ...Kinda. Sorta. I'm hungry.

So, after an allergy attack and a slightly more productive discussion on IM, I arrived on campus around 3 to talk to my professor about the paper topic.

I was highly surprised to find that she wanted us to focus on the social aspects and tradeoffs of Internet privacy instead of delving deep into the technical aspects. Why, you ask? Because doing so would cause too much overlap with some of the other project groups who have to give presentations as well. Not only that, I dug up an article outlining some of the issues of generic Web privacy which we could use as a good jumping-off point.

Oh, and the project proposal will not be graded, she just wants it by Thursday.

So after class, I met with two of my group members (the missing one had good reason for being MIA, it turned out) and we had an actual productive meeting in spite of my slight incoherence and tendency to sniffle. Really, the only concern is how to break down the paper since there are a bunch of privacy risks to deal with - some smaller than others. But hey, the proposal only needs to be turned in on Thursday and I think most arguing can be done on the group site, e-mail or IM.

I think I'm going to be okay.

But it's after 7, and I haven't eaten dinner yet.

Must go remedy that.

Horay for tutors who finally provide decent answers. Such a pity he/she/it couldn't have done it sooner, but at least you know now AND you can deal with A as necessary. *huggles* I hope dinner was good and I hope your allergies are calming down.
