Okay. I was weirded out and amused when I found there were a bunch of freaking Minesweeper fanfics in the games section of ff.net.

But what is up with the 104 Dance Dance Revolution fanfics???

Okay, done fooling around on the computer. Kitchen floor is clean. Time for bed.

Edit: This wouldn't disturb me quite so much if there weren't more DDR and Minesweeper game fanfics than there are for some games that have something resembling a plot. Games like StarTropics and Monkey Island that actually had characters and a plotline have maybe a handful of stories. Don't these people have better things to do with their time?

Dance Dance Revolution = The arcade game with the foot pads where you have to mimic the steps that the game does in time to win. You see them a lot in arcades, and I've only played one once (and I sucked at it).

Needless to say, it's still very popular, but writing fanfic for it? Ummm... no.
