Normally, I get annoyed about sleeping in too late on Saturdays, usually because I have stuff to do - today, of course, I didn't give a crap.
I am very, very grateful that there is a 24-hour pharmacy about a mile from my apartment. Around 11 last night, I was searching through the cabinets to discover I had everything BUT cough medicine - and my throat had decided I was going into cough overdrive for whatever reason. So I was so happy to be able to get in the car, go to CVS, grab a bottle of Robitussin and get back in 10 minutes flat.
While I will not be venturing out to Fredneck today, I will be braving the outside world to go to the grocery store - I need milk, at the very least, and I need to return the Reduced Shakespeare DVD to the library since it's 3 days late. I wonder if I could walk around with a handkerchief over my face, but I think that would freak people out more than my coughing.
Oh, well. I've already wasted the morning captioning 80 of the 443 Ireland photos (I am bound and determined to get a web photo album up of them) and discovering that while there's a lot of potential for mess (this is me we're talking about) the thyme tea that
kevenn suggested really works in making my throat stop itching and me stop coughing. So I should probably get in the shower and go buy milk and return some DVDs.
Until I have something interesting to share, I will - in the meantime - share the interesting posts of others.

Second,
cleolinda predicts a blow-by-blow of what will really happen at the Oscars. Hee. I wish.
On an unrelated note, I'm compiling a playlist of Songs That Are Fun to Blast Out My Car Windows. (Either they're just good stuff or songs that make other people stare.) So far, I've got:
"The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" - Relient K
"Raiders of the Lost Ark (Theme)" - John Williams
"Stress" - Jim's Big Ego
"Embracing the Future (Embracing the Sunshine remix)" - BT
"A Boy Named Sue" - Johnny Cash
"I.W.I.W.A.L (I Wish I Was a Lesbian)" - Loudon Wainright III
"Aria" - Delerium
"Math Prof Rock Star" - Jim's Big Ego
"1985" - Bowling For Soup
Any suggestions? It's a weird selection so far, but anything goes.
