I have an extensive list of webcomic links off the NTSH site, but occasionally I feel the need to single one out that doesn't get a great deal of attention - and deserves a lot of attention at that. (So far, I've recced Utukki and A Miracle of Science with that in mind.)
This week's rec? Well, it's been on hiatus for several months, but now that it's gearing up for a comeback, I figure now's a good time to recommend "Absurd Notions." It already has a fairly large fanbase, but I still run into people who should read it who have never heard of it.
This is for anyone who's sat down and watched their favorite show but has been unable to ignore the obvious trap or cliche that the characters are walking into, for anyone who's done a little gaming, for anyone who's dealt with pranksters, pizza delivery problems, or Idiot Bosses From Hell, for anyone who's shared an apartment with one or more weird friends in order to pay the bills, or for anyone who likes witty, intelligent humor... you get the idea.
"Should we start to worry when the sarcasm begins to resemble hysteria?"
"Nah. Just enjoy the show."
Good advice, that.
Absurd Notions.
Go read.
