More time-wasting ahoy!

So since I've got a working DVD recorder, I've been commissioned to dub old family videos onto DVD before the tapes wear out. (Dad, if you have anything like that on VHS that you want on DVD, let me know. Problem is, I can't guarantee the DVDs will work on your computer's schizo DVD player.)

I was dubbing an old Thanksgiving video when I came across a scene that absolutely cracked me up to the point that I think I'm going to transcribe it here. (Friends-locked, of course. I know better.)

The entire video is a trip - it's from 1987, when Mom and I spent Thanksgiving at her parents. It's so weird to see everyone so young. I was a LOUD eight-year-old; I don't know what happened. Of course, Mom says that whenever my cousin Steph and I got together, we both were crazier than usual. Kind of a shame we drifted apart.

Oh, well. It's still neat to see some of these old videos.
