Lots of random things in one post...

1) Had an interesting dilemma the other day. A trucker got my attention outside the pharmacy, asked if he could borrow some money to get some gas before he got on the highway. Now I knew that the exit wasn't far, and it's a fair piece to go before you can get to a decent, close exit with a gas station that way. But I also knew that he could be scamming me, trying to distract me. I was out of arm's reach, there was a railing between us and lots of people in the parking lot, and no one was anywhere near my car. But still, you never know.

Then again, I *know* what it's like to be on that road, see your gas light come on and go, "Aw, crap..." So I gave him two bucks, which I could definitely spare. Does that make me a sucker? I don't know.

2) Want to suck away your free time into a black hole? TrueLove, a Flash game I discovered the other day. Ye GODS... good game, but you'll yank your hair out. (If you play it and get ticked off, go to The Geek Forums for help.)

3) I can deal with popups. Fine. But why on EARTH must they make pop-ups with really LOUD embedded sounds? It's common knowledge that loud commercials annoy a lot of people - this is worse!

4) War, could I possibly con you into getting a free LJ account so I can make friends-only posts that you can see?

6) I'm looking for a good "grrr" icon to use when reacting to stupid and immature behavior. Any suggestions? ;)

I don't think that makes you a sucker. Think of it this way: if he was telling the truth, one good day done and if not- at least you were still able to give him the benefit of the doubt. ^^

You know what - I knew that as a little boy watching Labyrinth. I got my DVD of Labyrinth ouot last weekend and had it on as I was drawing. Even today, I was still amazed and mesmerized by the sight of David Bowie in his tights. You know Iman can't have any complaints - the lucky bitch! LOL!
