I haven't really celebrated it, but I did treat myself to one of Cafe Itali'Aria's Grand Marinier flavor gelatis, which tastes like Baskin Robbins' early-80s "Blue Moon" / Smurf ice cream/sherbert (and-it-was-spelled-that-way-in-Chicago-so-I-shall-evermore-spell-it-so).
And at this point, since I can't do anything to stop Bats, I'm taking that Army's advice (shh! Don't tell the Navy!) and Being All I Can Be in terms of damned annoying. (For example, my current art projects have been strewn about the entire common room's floor, making it look a bit like I took a ream of paper and a boxful of art supplies, pitched them over the loft railing, and left them where they fell. Considering Bats is the type to compulsively pick up, straighten, tidy or adjust even the slightest-bit crooked note or lightly-dangling-over-the-edge-of-the-desk paper, I expect this measure to net some incoherent babbling/heart failure...) Anyways. It's probably better this way; after all, there are some things you just can't do in a fight until after the battle's been lost. Scorched Earth kinds of things. Spite kinds of things.
...Playing the Disney DDR techno remix of the Smurfs theme song, which completely REDEFINES annoying on a previously unfathomable level... ^_^
