5-minute Friday meme

I say five minutes because that's all the time I'm giving myself to do it in. Got this from athersgeo.

Friday means:

1) getting up at the crack of dawn to get to work early and thus get out early

2) waiting (im)patiently for Bleach-Society's next fansub of Bleach

3) preparing to make a (usually spontaneous) trip south to Annapolis, west to Fredneck or north to Bel Air

4) going out to lunch since 95% of the people I eat with always go out to lunch just for the sake of going out on Friday

5) bearing witness to at least one division war-related bit of insanity at work (yeah, the picnic's over, but it's Friday and I'm waiting for the response to the poster someone made)

Okay, need to do my hair, find my shoes, and get on the lovely wet road.

(BTW, while the anime's slow, my current music? "Air" has one of the nicer opening theme songs. I would love to find a full version of this song.)

Think I'll just do this one here, since you tagged most of the people on my friends list that were likely to respond to it... ^_^

Friday means:

1) Remembering not to open windows, since I'll be out late.

2) Grabbing the borrowed manga, cache of recycling, and daily essentials on my way out the door, as I will need to return/drop off/use them over the weekend.

3) If it's nice out: hitting up Annapolis Ice Cream Co. for my weekly Walkies (two scoops inna cup, $2.75). If it's not: hitting up The Big Cheese deli for a Warm Honey, Brie, & Almonds sammich. ^_^

4) Watching the clock like a hawk come 1450, then performing a Memory Dump and Building Egress Land Speed Record Attempt at 1500. If it's nice out: removing convertible top and cruising in sunny warmth to assist Memory Dump.

5) Switching to Nocturnal Mode and releasing the creativity demons.

Yuck, this weather is gross.

Indeed it is. Not that I mind the rain - the farmers can always use it - but it's been overcast and noncommittal all week, with just enough almost-rain too keep the days humid & muggy but not enough to enjoy storms & puddles. (Plus it looks like the real rain's coming in for the weekend, which I'm sure is just going to *delight* the Boat Show and Navy/Air Force Game crowds, not to mention monkey-wrench the Ren Faire trip...)
