mandolin | *growl* and *eep*

I discovered something this morning. Remember that Petro tech who came out and said my oil burner wasn't working? Petro has no record of that. He didn't even bother to document the work order at all. In some ways, this is good, because then it doesn't look like the burner died right after I got the home warranty. But it's bad because this was a waste of three weeks.

So I get to leave early today to wait for a new technician who will PROPERLY test and inspect the damn thing and who will actually DOCUMENT his findings.

My cousin goes in for heart surgery today. They've been telling him it's not a big deal, but asking him if he has a will is not really comforting. Even though they say they ask this of all heart patients. *crosses fingers* I'll know how it went later this evening.

I promise I'll have more pleasant entries in the future...
