How to classify this blooper?

Looked at my calendar today and saw I had a 1:30 meeting; stopped to check what room it was in before heading over. Got to the room, and didn't see anyone from my team there. But the division head was there, and he waved me in, so I figured it was the right meeting.

As I sat there, I realized this was NOT the meeting I was invited to. It wasn't irrelevant to my job, and good to know, but I could just imagine the response when I would have to tell my team leader where I'd been. Ouch.

So I walked back to my cube, feeling really dumb and wondering if the meeting had been relocated and worrying if I'd get in trouble for being an hour late because I went to the wrong meeting.

Then I took a good look at my calendar.

The meeting I thought I missed? Scheduled for WEDNESDAY.

Whew. :)

Well, that's it, folks. It's over. I'm not going over my thoughts because everyone else has, so I'll just say that "Chosen" started out slow (cookie dough? Angel with soul-envy? gah?) and then took the show out with a bang. (And I'm really mad that certain people died.)

So what else can I say? Well, there IS something I'd like to throw out...

A single thought. A really twisted creativity demon.

Honestly, the theory's sloppy, but it would explain a lot. Or serve as a red herring.

( Okay, thoughts on the so-called 'lack of closure' people have complained about. )

And now I say goodbye to first-run episodes of Buffy. It was a fun and nerve-wracking ride; even the worst episodes were better than a good chunk of network TV out there.
