Monday and random tidbits
Jun. 6th, 2005 02:37 pmJust short facts to let you know I'm not dead.
Mom loved her birthday present. I was horrified to realize when she unwrapped the portrait that the glass had cracked, but the picture itself was okay. Whew.
Mortgage stuff appears to be making SENSE for once. Turns out most of my headaches stemmed from a misunderstanding - the gross pay listed on the application is actually my net pay after taxes. Oops.
I finally caved and rolled a character for D&D. Even if she's ultimately disposable, I figure the group could use a thief. This sparked an argument over my alignment - Lawful Neutral - which caused the two Evil characters to groan in disappointment. I tend to interpret Lawful this way: less likely to go rushing headlong into the jaws of death over a treasure I could get with less risk to my neck, not necessarily geared more towards loyalty. I enjoy making things blow up, I just prefer to be well out of range. Besides, we've got one Chaotic Evil, one Neutral Good, one Lawful Good, one Neutral Evil, and two Chaotic Neutrals already. And I can be corrupted. ;)
I seem to have developed a life. Thursday I go to see The Lion King and next Monday
violetbloom and I are going along with my aunt and her friend to see the Wallflowers perform. Neither of us know how to get to Ram's Head in Baltimore. It'll be fun.
Last but not least because it's almost time to go: Orisinal: Morning Sunshine is a great way to kill time. These games are just neat.
