On a completely pointless note...

Dear Universal:

Guh?

I know you wanted to rush Serenity onto DVD to get it out before Christmas. Since the Firefly movie is boosting sales of the series, hey, I get that.

But FOUR DAYS before Christmas? Tomorrow?

Don't get me wrong, I am thrilled to see it and will pounce on it gleefully, but after parents asking me what I want and me having no clue and only just now discovering this... well, I'm not going to make any of my friends or family go out shopping THIS WEEK of all weeks.

(All the Firefly fans whacking me for not knowing about this til now: Hello! House! Grad school! No organizational skills whatsoever!)

Final exam is 75% done. And at 8 pages. Wow.

(Edit: Fixed the addressee. In my defense, I've been trying to churn out coherent BS about outsourcing and open-source and ERP and something else for the past half hour. :) )

*ponders* You Can't Do that on Television is coming out in the spring, Beyond Tomorrow was released in the UK, um, and Universal has greenlighted Joss for some movie called "Goners".

Yeah, I never put it on my Amazon list, coz I don't want to have to wait until Christmas to get it. Although, I don't know if I'll have time before then to watch it anyways, btut at least I'll be secure in knowing it's in my paws!

if it makes you feel better, i didn't know until a couple of days ago. and i watch a copious amount of TV. and i'm a major fan. eeek! i'm still hoping that i might yet get it as a gift, since the rest of my family appears to have been clued in.
