To the people who have managed to hold down a full-time job, maintain a house and take two graduate-level classes in one semester:

HOW DO YOU DO IT??

That is all.

Hmm. I'll go out on a limb and say I remember at 27, holding down a house, a full time job, and some college courses. It was awful.

Hang in there, Mandi.

At least you don't have kids yet...

Even I wouldn't try to juggle kids, job and grad school at the same time. :)

I've done it. It's a heck of a lot of work. Don't think I could have handled it if I had kids.

All through grad school I got the school dreams again, the ones where you have a final but you forgot to go to class all semester so you know nothing and you can't even find the classroom... *brrrrr*

Catonsville area, actually.

So at least I don't have to drive an hour to get to school on top of everything else. :)

Most people I've seen either (a) budget time like a mad accountant, or (b) become addicted to coffee, sleeping pills, and/or Prozac. There is an option (c), but it generally involves a spouse to farm housekeeping tasks out to.

Although, it seems to be more of an issue of free time and focus. If, minus the classes, one has at least 6 hours of free time (by which I mean time not spent at work or asleep) a day, then theoretically it can be done. BUT - and this is important - one must always maintain the ability to take a step back from at least one task and RELAX.

....then again, I'm the insomno-maniacal lunatic with 40 hobbies. ^_^;

Sorry life seems to be stressing you out so much lately. Let me know if I can help with anything. (Really. I can't do readings for you, but the creativity demons are good with research and household chores....)

I'm okay. I'm actually on top of things, and it turned out Dr. Zhang let me slide on the essay question because I answered the second half so well, but there's just a LOT of stuff to stay on top of. Other than tonight's Anime Society meeting, I have no plans this weekend aside from cleaning and homework, and for my sanity it's going to stay that way.

(But if you can come up with a way to get a working database of movie ratings and users up without being able to use Oracle or killing the memory of the computers we have available, let me know. Warren = still no home PC, Mike = abused Gateway, me = iMac.)
