Now that I can BREATHE again...

mandolin*sigh* Sometimes I think I'm too uptight.
Came down with a cold yesterday, but still went into work anyway. However, when I went to bed at 8 and couldn't get to sleep til 1:30 a.m., I wisely decided not to go into work today.
As it turned out, good idea. I needed the rest, I couldn't stop coughing, and I had NO energy. (The gorgeous warm sunny weather is what gave me the impetus to at least take the trash out....) I've been tired, coughing, with a stuffy nose and a crick in my neck that just won't go away (I didn't intend to conk out for 2 hours straight like that on the couch), and a much needed half-hour spent in the sun on my back porch with an air mattress and a book actually seems to have helped dry out my sinuses a bit (knock on wood).
So it stands to reason that I was in no condition to do jack today.
And yet, what currently has me pissed off? The fact that I have been home all day and haven't gotten any headway on the major cleaning/organizing spree that I kicked off earlier this week.
Sigh.
