For the dead RL LJ, though (mandichaos):

Mandi is, of course, my name, or the shortening of my full name I've used for years. Chaos was the nickname I got in college, some time after a group of us realized certain people could be the Horsewomen of the Apocalypse, and when they ran out of Horsewomen (there were six of us initially), I was dubbed Panic, and was upgraded to Chaos when I pointed out that Panic was simply the effect, not the cause. (Dubbing jennies as War was a no-brainer, of course.)

....I need to get around to getting a rename token already. Maybe when I get back.

Tagging... who hasn't taken this yet whose name isn't blatantly obvious and who hasn't told me (or they have, but I typically forgot)?

ecogryff dates back to Gathering '99. through an odd coincidence, Beedoo! had assigned me an alter ego of a gryphon in "The Novel" and one of the family names is Griffin. so i decided to roll with it and used a gryphon as my avatar. then in '99, just after i declared myself as an ecology major, B! and Jade Griffin and I were temoporarily stuck at an Autozone in El Paso. JG accidentally dropped the plastic wrap off her water bottle, and i acted all angry and admonished her to pick it up. B! and JG both laughed and teased me. i replied that i was an ecology major, it was my job now to go after the litter bugs and such. B! laughed and called me the eco-gryffyn...which got shortened to ecogryff. it's really more of a title than a name, but i like it. : )
