So has anyone else been working on an assignment and been POSITIVE that it SHOULD NOT BE TAKING THIS LONG TO FINISH?
Darn it. Midnight already and I'm not done with Assignment 2. And I started the darn thing the second she posted it so I could get it out of the way and focus on the paper.
...and hey, my group members jumped on that on e-mail and were waiting for me to put in a vote by Friday on what to do while I was mucking with work + homework + RL + yesterday's huge fire (NOT ME ABANDONED HOUSE BUT IT WAS REALLY CLOSE BY).
Pfft. I fail at planning. Time to pull out the old Honors skills, brought to you by the initials B and S.
ETA: BWAHAHA never mind it's done and I'm going to bed.

Date: 2008-04-04 07:32 pm (UTC)It sounds like some stupid kids went and left a lit cigarette or something there; the fire started at like 4:30 am on Wednesday and I woke up to find my street was completely and totally taken up by fire trucks. (Turns out one of them hit a car that was parked on the curb - I am so glad I use my driveway.)
I did luck out - Mike (you met him at New Year's) hadn't left for work yet so I had time to shower and change and he picked me up at the Beechfield intersection. Which was a good thing, as they apparently spent HOURS putting the fire out and there was nothing left of that tiny old house.
Needless to say, it was an INTERESTING morning.
