Okay, so I just got through my first class of the semester. The class is "Online Communities." One of the final project options is to conduct a social study of an existing online community.

I immediately thought of campfuckudie.

And then took a second to really consider what a social study of CFUD would reveal.

I'm not gonna do it, but can you all understand why I started cracking the hell up in the middle of class?

I don't think my prof is ready for that.

Man, I'd probably have to spend 20 pages just explaining LJ RP and a lot of the comm in-jokes. Even if I did h_h instead. Can you imagine trying to explain Duck Waffle in the context of a graduate study report? XD

...although it is worth noting that this would be a rare chance with repeatedly using the word "fuck" in the text and the TITLE of a graduate project and totally getting away with it. NOT A GOOD REASON TO PICK A STUDY SUBJECT but it amuses the hell out of me.
