For burning an audio CD? Yeah. It shouldn't take three tries (and three discs) to get a disc that plays all the way through on a standard stereo.
Seriously, I thought it was my car stereo at first, but then I did some comparing with the few other non-Memorex CD-Rs I had left, tested with my stereo in the house and went "dammit!" Maybe I got a bad batch, but still!
Sounds like it could be a bad batch. The majority of the ones I've burned I haven't had issues, but did notice that if you burn at full speed, it tends to foul up some of the tracks. I dunno if that's Memorex CD-R issue or something quirky with my burner.
Nah, I've just wound up wasting discs trying to burn an audio CD. I thought it was just my car stereo, but after experimenting with other discs and other stereos I realized it was the new batch of Memorex CD-Rs I'd just cracked open.
