Arm still sore, but improving. That'll teach me to put my weight on a shoulder that already hurts...

First off, a public service announcement:

To those of you looking for an apartment in the Harrisburg area, do NOT rent from High Pointe Club. Not unless you're only staying for the spring and summer or if you like having your belongings soaked in mid-winter. *growl* See my friends list as to WHY this place is to be avoided.

Have been cleaning up stuff to sell on eBay, since buying an iMac by the end of this month has become inevitable. Never realized what a consummate pain-in-the-ass getting verified for PayPal can be, although that may have to do with the fact that I set up a separate account for PayPal transactions. (I'm not giving them access to my life savings.) Post the stupid deposits already, Bank of America! Come on!!

And a meme snagged from [livejournal.com profile] bktheirregular and others:

Pick a fic of mine for which you'd like a sort of DVD commentary-type deal. ("Sharp Edges" and "The Key and the Sword" do not count because they're both in rewrites.)

Oh, and on that note...

Said I was going to revise "Sharp Edges" ... now I'm wondering if it needs to be gutted. That is, maybe the villains should be simpler. Just Ethan wreaking havoc and Dawn ending up as a pawn in whatever he's up to. Then again, I suspect this notion is my subconscious desire to get out of writing the Part 19 fight scene that stymied me in the first place. Bryan's been trying to wheedle his way out of it for weeks.

You know how an OC threatens to move in on Sue/Stu territory? Rhiannon's got the opposite problem; she's becoming less and less defined the more I try to write her. She doesn't want to be written. She's a little too useful to the plot to be written out.

As for "The Key and the Sword" ... nothing of interest to report or bitch about.

*sigh* You'd think that with my work assignments finished early and nothing much else to do, I'd be plenty inspired to write. But no, of course not. No inspiration whatsoever. Yuck.

Time to get away from the computer...

I'm next, I'm next!

"New Blood," 'cause even though I know nothing about PR, I still throughly enjoyed the story :)
