And the demons are back. Sort of.
Jun. 16th, 2004 11:19 pmThanks to
violetbloom pointing me towards "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in 15 Minutes," I am now watching
m15m religiously. So funny.
Oh, and
honorh started up the "Key and the Sword" creativity demons again with this intriguing connection between Illyria and the Key. But before you get all excited, let me provide a sample of the illogic:

Wait! That's it! It was Illyria!
What are you babbling about?
Illyria could have made the Key! Remember when Death was going on about who made the Key and the Compass and that we had to explain where everything came from?
Yes, although that was a year and a half ago. I still recall the screams of "Strike!" that elicited.
So, what do you think?
Wait, you want to tie ILLYRIA into "The Key and the Sword?"
Yeah, wouldn't it be cool?
And we wouldn't have to make someone up to be behind the Compass, and you always say it's better to stay with canon characters...
Guys, I wanted to UNcomplicate this story, now you want to throw in aspects from "Angel" as well?
What's wrong with that?
First off, Illyria? Not the type to bother with something like the Compass. She wouldn't need it. Second off, guys, "The Key and the Sword" is set in early season 7 of Buffy - and therefore, early season 4 of Angel! Illyria hasn't come into play yet!
Maybe she could have, maybe we just didn't see it.
She was in a sarcophagus in a well that went through the Earth, and once she was taken out, I don't think they'd have been able to just put her back without Drogyn noticing!
Well, okay...
Let's not forget that if she got pulled into someone, putting her back would involve her ripping through everyone in between the well and the sarcophagus, and then there'd be the problem of the bodies and Drogyn not noticing that something was up. You see what I'm saying? The connection itself is intriguing, but involving it heavily in this story makes zero sense.
...
But it'd be cool!
Gah. I'm going to bed.
*thunk*
